Minds are built.
Which means minds can be rebuilt.

Twenty years at the bench: cognitive behavioural therapy done like honest craft — measured, explained, and yours to keep. Plus the two rooms most psychologists don't keep: corporate training and structured coaching.

The bench

Twenty years of
showing the work.

Dr. Nandvanshi's career reads like a tradesman's log: PhD in Psychology (DAVV Indore, 2012), then Kant Brain Centre as senior psychologist, then his own practice — Mind Labs — and two decades of clients across Lucknow: individuals, couples, de-addiction work, and boardrooms.

He is, by his own site's telling, an unusually technical practitioner — claiming India's first PhD in neurofeedback therapy, EEG-based work, and a full assessment bench (MMPI, Rorschach, IQ, neuropsychological testing). self-claimed — verify

The three rooms of the practice

  • The clinic — Kant Brain Centre (Vikas Nagar) & Mind Labs (Kursi Road), Lucknow
  • The training room — corporate programmes: stress, leadership, emotional intelligence
  • The online bench — teleconsults across India (₹600 on Lybrate; ₹1,100 flat on SecondMedic)

The craft

CBT, explained like
a tradesman would.

Cognitive behavioural therapy is the most-studied psychological craft we have. The premise is a workbench truth: thoughts, feelings and actions are joints in one frame — move one honestly and the others shift.

  1. Measure. What's actually happening — situation, thought, feeling, each named separately. Assessment if needed: the practice keeps a full testing bench.
  2. Find the joint. The specific thought doing the load-bearing. Not all thoughts — the one that matters.
  3. Test it. CBT doesn't argue with your thoughts; it puts them on trial with evidence you gather yourself.
  4. Rebuild the habit. Behavioural experiments between sessions — homework in the honest sense of the word.

Used here for anxiety, depression, OCD-spectrum struggles, addiction (nicotine and substance), marital distress, and the burnout of working professionals.
